This project centered on the renovation and expansion of a freestanding, single-storey brick bungalow.

The clients, having recently lived in Europe, were inspired by the charm and character of classic French provincial architecture. They wished to see those influences subtly reflected in their new home.

Key original features of the bungalow were carefully preserved and echoed throughout the renovation. A double-height extension was introduced at the rear to respond to the southerly aspect, while additional living areas were added above. The result is a significantly expanded family home that honours the original structure while offering modern, light-filled interiors with a contemporary feel.
