he purpose of our cost service is to help align the design with the budget as construction documentation progresses. This way decisions that have cost implications can be assessed and decided on at an early stage rather than realising costs at a later date after time and money has been invested into a full set of design documentation.

Where limited documentation is available, we prefer to start the process by providing an independent and standalone planning and budgeting service to uncover the full scope of the project with the client and architect if necessary to determine as accurately as possible project costs. This enables the client, architect and builder to make key decisions regarding scope and budget early rather than later throughout the project.

What’s included

Construction estimating services for every stage

Review of initial project documentation and provide a high initial cost estimate. This estimate is achieved by way of comparison of actual costs on past similar projects having a similar scope of works and similar finishes.

A detailed trade specific quote once documentation reaches CC stage and all project documentation is available. Includes preparation of trade specific scope of works, site visits by relevant trades and review of sub-contractor quotes as required.
